As a former Inflight Safety Training Instructor in the Aviation industry for nearly two decades, she has traveled the world extensively and infuses her artistic creativity in all her work. Did you know that one third of the Old Testament is poetry? Psalms, Proverbs, and Lamentations are entirely poetic in form. Most of Job and portions of Ecclesiastes are poetic, while the prose narratives in the books of Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, to name a few, contain substantial poetic sections.
I find the Bible to be resourceful, serving as a guide giving a basic outline towards life and how to live it. No wonder it is the best-selling book of all time!
In this book, I have taken some famous quotes and given them a poetic spin of my own, with my personal interpretation of it.
Adding another edge to it, I have chosen to use “Hebrew poetry” instead of traditional English poetry. In Hebrew poetry, rhyme is not as important as the sound of the words. It also uses figurative language and parallelism; where the same idea is stated in different ways.
A great way to revisit scripture!
