The Mro script, is an indigenous script used by the Mro people, an ethnic group primarily residing in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh and parts of Myanmar (Burma). The language is also known as Mru, which means ‘human’, and the people who speak it called themselves Mro-cha (‘human beings’).
The Mro script is considered to be a messianic writing system created in the 1980s by Menley Murang, also known as Menley Mro.. The Mro language uses the Krama script.
