Chelyesta (ล รฉลรฉsta) was created by David J. Peterson in 2005 to write his conlang (constructed language) – Sidaan, which means “writing”. It is a fairly simple alphabetic script. As with many constructed scripts, it serves to give the language a unique and visually distinctive writing system.
David J. Peterson is a well-known language creator and linguist, famous for creating languages for various television shows and movies, including Dothraki and Valyrian for the television series Game of Thrones.
