The Chakma alphabet, also called Ojhapath, Ojhopath, or Aaojhapath, is an abugida used for the Chakma language and which is being adapted for the Tanchangya language. It is spoken by the Chakma people in Southeast Asia. The script descended from the ancient Brahmi script. It has its own distinct characters for consonants and vowels, and like other Brahmi-derived scripts, it includes diacritic marks to represent different vowel sounds.
