Life=Challenges 1…Accepted

Life=Challenges 1… Accepted 💋

Hi dears,

Coming back to my first challenge…on my “Life= Challenges” posts. The challenge being designing my hand made healing jewelry to go with a pair of mustard heaven stilettos!!!

Keeping it fun and light, here is the challenge accepted. I designed a meter long necklace with beautiful beads and the healing – Ruby Jade and Clear Blue Quartz crystals. The necklace also comes with hanging multi-stoned earrings.

Jade is a protective stone, keeping the wearer from harm and brings harmony. Jade attracts good luck and friendship. It stabilizes the personality and promotes self-sufficiency, soothes the mind, releasing negative thoughts.

Blue Quartz  alleviates fear and enhances creativity and expression. It has the effect of balancing the throat chakra. It can assist in communication and allow its owner to reach out to others. It is an uplifting stone which aids in lifting depression and restores hope, happiness and peace.

Heather Flower Soap

Second batch of pastry 😁…no it’s soap!

This time with heather flower essential oil.

Heather flower represents admiration, beauty & good luck. It can also be associated with solitude and protection. The color of the heather flower influences its meaning. Traditional purple heather is used to represent admiration, beauty and solitude, while pink heather is associated with good luck.

Homemade Olive oil castile soap with Eucalyptus and Argan oil and a hint of spiced pumpkin


Just finished my first batch of homemade soap and it smells divine :)!

Savon de Castile à l’huile d’olive fait maison avec de l’eucalyptus et de l’huile d’argan et une touche de citrouille épicée

Zelfgemaakte castillazeep op basis van olijfolie met eucalyptus en arganolie en een vleugje gekruide pompoen


Some benefits of :

  • Castile soap is an amazingly versatile vegetable-based soap that’s made free of animal fats and synthetic ingredients. It is a natural, nontoxic and biodegradable soap. 
  • Olive oil acts as an antioxidant, which is a substance that prevents oxidation. Oxidation is a process that can produce free radicals, which are chemicals that can potentially damage cells and may contribute to cancer development. When applied to the skin, antioxidants may prevent premature aging. Also a good moisturizer.
  • Eucalyptus oil clears your chest, keeps the bugs away, disinfects, helps easy breathing, controls blood sugar, eases joint pain.
  • Argan oil protects from sun damage, moisturizes skin, heals skin infections, has anti-aging effects and prevents and reduces stretch marks.
